What is a 510-Thread Battery

A 510-thread battery is a battery unit that is used when vaporizing cannabis and nicotine oil filled cartridges. These 510 thread battery vaporizers are available in an array of shapes, sizes and colors.

510 refers to the 10 threads at 5mm connection that enable you to screw your threaded battery onto a compatible threaded oil cartridge.

The term “510” has become a common name for pen style vape devices and is the universal standard connection for most thread vape batteries and threaded cartridges currently on the market.

How do 510-Threaded Batteries work

The 510 threading is the connection between the atomizer oil tank and the battery. The threading enables the user to screw the oil cartridge onto the pen-style vaporizer battery.

The mouthpiece, is attached at the end of the cartridge and it enables you to inhale vapour. They can be made from a range of materials including plastic, glass and metal.
